Customer Reviews
Good Greece trip
Went on the Greece Sailing Adventure. Booking was smooth. Communication was clear. The trip was great, learned a lot. Instructors were good. Would recommend.
Cool time in Croatia
Just got back from the Croatia Catamaran Adventure. It was a really fun trip, super relaxed vibe. The instructors were cool and made learning sailing skills pretty easy. Met some nice people too. Everything was pretty smooth, no real drama. Wish the flights were included but you gotta book those yourself, not a big deal though. Had a blast.
Good deal on BVI course
I was looking for a Bareboat Charter Certification and saw their BVI Sailing Course. Got in on an early bird discount, saved a couple hundred bucks, which was nice. I compared it to other schools and this felt like the best bang for my buck, especially with the certifications included. The booking process was straightforward, and the course itself delivered what was promised. Felt like I got great value for what I paid.
Caribbean course was fine
I took a Caribbean Sailing Adventure. The instruction quality was top-notch, really learned a lot about bareboat chartering. The yacht was comfortable and clean, no complaints there. However, the initial communication after booking could have been a bit more proactive. I had to follow up a couple of times to get details about what to expect. Once I got on the trip, everything was well-organized. It was good value for the money, but a little better pre-trip communication would make it perfect.
BVI trip was solid
I did the ASA 101/103/104 Fast Track in the BVI with Sailing Virgins. Booking was easy enough online, just filled out the form and got a call back pretty quick. They answered all my questions about what to pack and if I needed prior experience (I didn't). The instructors were knowledgeable and patient, really made learning fun. The boat itself was well-maintained. Food was good too, surprisingly. Took 6 days to get my certification after the trip ended, which was a little slow but not a huge deal. Overall, a fantastic experience for a first-timer.

are there any discounts if I'm booking for a group of us? like 4-5 people?
is sailing virgins actually ASA certified? or are they just saying they are?
what's the deal with their cancellation policy? like, if something comes up and I can't make it last minute, am I just out all the money?
how many people usually end up on one of their boats for a course? trying to get a feel for the group size.
hey, was looking at the BVI trip, pretty sweet. anyone know if flights are included in the price or do I gotta sort that myself?
